With a new identity and logo, Compaq also launched two notebooks and two desktops in the presence of Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan.
Presario V6425TU and V6406TU are the new notebooks launched by Compaq. These portable laptops feature 15.4-inch widescreen display with BrightView technology. Besides, both the notebooks also include a roomy keyboard and four way scroll zone.
To enhance the audio-video entertainment Compaq also integrates Altec Lansing speakers. Moreover, they also include 8X SuperMulti double layer (8.5 GB) DVD writer.
Besides, the V6406TU incorporates 80GB serial ATA hard drive while the V6425TU has a 120 GB serial ATA hard drive.
The Presario V 6000 series is priced between Rs. 25,990 and Rs. 45,990.
The newly launched Compaq SG3053IL and SG3043IL desktops also belong to the Presario series. Compaq claims that the desktops’ new Easy Access Design will make computing a simpler experience.
The most advantageous feature is that the Power On/Off button is placed on the top of the CPU, thus users will not have to bend down to switch on/off the PC. Also, the desktops include a slim keyboard that integrates hot keys assigned for the frequently used applications.
Users can further enhance the experience of watching movies and photos with the help of LCD monitor that is included in the desktop.
The SG3053IL uses Intel Pentium Processor E2140 with EM64T having dual core and Front-Side Bus speed of 800Mhz and the SG3043 has dual core Intel Pentium D Processor 925 EM64T having the same Bus speed.
The price of Presario series desktops, the SG3053IL and SG3043IL. ranges between Rs.15,990 to rs.28,990.
