The Samsung Series 7 SC770 Touch monitor will be exhibited at the CES 2013 along with another ergonomic display dubbed the Series 7 SC770. While the former has been optimized for the latest Windows 8 OS, the latter claims to arrive with capabilities of offering ‘premium picture quality.’ According to the Samsung Tomorrow blog, these gadgets are apt for professionals as well as consumers.

The Series 7 SC770 Touch is the company’s first display with a multi-touch screen that is perfectly compatible with systems running Windows 8. The 10-point screen can recognize various gestures and can be tilted by up to 60 degrees for ease of use. The accompanying stand is said to be pretty flexible and ergonomic as it can be adjusted easily based on user preferences.

Some of its other advantages include a thin bezel and a wide viewing angle amongst others. The 24-inch MVA screen boasts of rendering visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolution and has a 16:9 aspect ratio. Featuring an HDMI connector, a USB hub and built-in speakers, the device with a contrast ratio of 5000:1, offers a response time of 5ms.

Next up is the 27-inch SC750 that is flexible enough to provide landscape as well as portrait viewing modes. Supported by a cylindrical stand, the monitor with a contrast ratio of 5000:1, is also capable of projecting clear visuals in 1920 x 1080p resolution. The WVA LED screen of a 16:9 aspect ratio, delivers brightness of 300cd/m2 and has a response time of 5ms. HDMI-enabled devices can easily be connected to this gadget.

Portrait Mode

And that’s not all- The South Korean manufacturer has revealed that it will also showcase the Series 9 SB970 pre-calibrated monitor at the CES. Powered by an integrated color calibration engine, the PLS WQHD display employs Natural Color Expert technology and provides a viewing real estate of 27 inches. The 2560 x 1440p display of a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, is embedded with dual speakers, USB ports, a DVI connector and a DisplayPort amongst others. It also has the ability to establish connections with MHL- and HDMI-certified devices.

The Samsung Series 7 SC770 Touch and SC750 monitors’ price and exact availability details have been kept under wraps for now. But the company has revealed that they will be up for grabs across the globe in the first quarter of 2013.
