Sony Vaio Tap 20 US release date set for this month

Sony Vaio Tap 20

The Sony Vaio Tap 20 US release date is scheduled for this month too, meaning the Vaio Duo 11 will not be the only one galloping out of these stables in October. The former has been designed to make the most of the Windows 8 platform, while staying true to the idea of a family tabletop PC.

So users will be able to place the device flat on a table for the entire family to view and play games on. It is equipped with a removable battery that makes it possible for it to be moved around the house without any trouble. For office work, checking mails and web browsing, the PC can be set in an upright position and employed as a desktop. As the name suggests, the Vaio takes on a 20-inch 10-point multi-touch screen that teams up with the Mobile Bravia Engine 2 for enhanced visual quality.

Onboard applications including ArtRage Studio bring out the creativity in users by allowing them to paint with natural tools such as oil paints, watercolors and more. There are also a couple of other pre-installed apps like Fingertapps Organizer, My Daily Clip and Dolby Home Theater v4. The AIO works on a third generation Intel Core i7-3517U processor, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and 8GB RAM.
