LG has been carving out elegant 3D solutions for its consumers and last made news headlines with its D41P and D42P Cinema 3D monitors. Extending its effort, the company has now forayed into the Indian market with its Cinema 3D TV which flaunts LG’s Film Patterned Retarder Technology.
The units render advanced 2D to 3D conversion feature and Flicker-Free certified 3D images for a seamless viewing experience. The 3D glasses promise to reduce undesired eye strain and are extremely lightweight. LG’s 3D light boost technology optimizes lighting from the backlight units to put forth enhanced brightness and image quality of the original source. The 3D brightness of Cinema 3D is touted to be 150 nits. Users can ensure seamless viewing positions and wide viewing angle.

The units flaunt LG’s Smart TV technology. Besides, the solutions come along with Smart TV functions such as home dashboard, magic motion remote control, premium content, smart share and web browser. Featuring advanced DLNA and Wi-Fi capabilities, the devices’ other attributes include LED Plus, micro pixel control, DivX Plus HD, smart energy saving, clear voice II and AV mode II. Users can access premium content through main global providers as well as Hungama, NDTV, Indiatimes, Carwale and Zapak.
The company will be offering four sets of glasses with each TV and extra basic model of 3D glasses can be snapped up for Rs. 1,000 for basic model of 3D glasses. The 3D glasses are also available in a clip-on format. Users can also lay their hands on designer glasses which can be used as sunglasses to supplement the style factor. The LW6500 comes in two sizes mainly 42-inch and 47-inch while the LW5700 can be picked in three sizes such as 42-inch, 47-inch and 55-inch.
LG Cinema 3D TV is available in LW6500 and LW5700 series. The price ranges from Rs. 94,990 to Rs. 1,64,990.
