It has been a while since Asus last launched a monitor in India. The company has now updated its LCD monitor range with the Asus PA246Q ProArt Series LCD monitor which is now up for sale.

The 24-inch LCD monitor with 1920 x 1200 resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:10 incorporates a P-IPS panel with an extensive range of colors to reproduce up to 98 percent of the Adobe RGB color space. Users can switch to sRGB mode to ensure that pictures which go on the web are displayed as required. The monitor can display about 1.07 billion colors making it capable to show almost the entire spectrum of a photograph from DSLR camera. For color accuracy, it is regulated to curtail the color difference to Delta E less than five.

A 178 degrees broad viewing angle and a stand to make adjustments up to 100mm make the monitor comfortable while using. Further its exclusive QuickFit virtual scale enables real-sized preview of completed artworks on hitting a key. The monitor can also be detached from the stand to be rearranged on Vesa-compliant mounting device.

The monitor with two built-in USB ports and a 7-in-1 media card reader facilitates connectivity and transfer of data. Connection to multiple devices is possible with the help of DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and D-sub inputs.

The Asus PA246Q ProArt Series monitor is available at a price of Rs. 31,000 with a three-year limited warranty.
