HP TouchPad coming to US, Europe and Canada

High web browsing speed, smooth curves and topnotch functionality are some certain factors that consume minimal time to intrigue users. And, HP’s latest tablet, which kept most of us waiting, vows to deliver all this. Interestingly, the highly-anticipated Wi-Fi HP TouchPad device has now settled upon reaching the United States on July 1.

Designed exquisitely, the attractive tablet will be covering the ground in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany a few days later and in Canada by mid-July, with availability slated to tailgate later this year in Italy and Spain, as well as across Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore. The advanced webOS device from HP allows users experience advanced multitasking and access web with so many interesting features.

“What makes HP TouchPad a compelling alternative to competing products is webOS,” quoted Jon Rubinstein, senior vice president and general manager, Palm Global Business Unit, HP. “The platform’s unmatched features and flexibility will continue to differentiate HP products from the rest of the market for both personal and professional use. This is only the beginning of what HP’s scale can do with webOS.”

There are stereo speakers and Beats Audio technology as well, while the embedded Just Type feature will enable users to find information on the device or in the cloud. Other attractive points the integrated HP Synergy and the company’s exclusive Touch to Share capability which lets users share web addresses between TouchPad and compatible webOS mobile phones.

Not only this, HP will also be collaborating with AT&T to announce a connected version of its TouchPad later this summer. The new HP TouchPad will be made available from U.S. retailers, commercial resellers and direct from HP with the option of either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage for $499.99 and $599.99, respectively. Pre-orders in North America and Europe will begin from June 19.
