Prices of Dell Streak drop again

Dell Streak

Fans of Dell gizmos may just jump with joy on hearing this piece of news. After AT&T dropped the prices of the Streak, the Dell U.S. website has just lowered its prices for the unlocked 16GB and 32GB versions to $399.99 (approx Rs. 18,000) and $498.99 (approx Rs. 22,520), respectively.

This holiday season can be greeted with the 32GB carbon black device which is powered by Android 2.2. The 16GB model comes with Android 1.6 though an Android 2.2 OTA update is available after the first use. The price drop is rendered by a $180 instant discount and both tablets are sold unlocked.

Users can snap up the 16GB Dell Streak decked in cherry red and carbon black via AT&T along with a 32GB edition option as well. Additionally, users can purchase new or upgraded AT&T contracts and free second day shipping.

The scheduled shipping date for the 16GB cherry red model as well as the 32GB carbon black locked and unlocked Streak tablets is January 1, right in time for the New Year. Whereas, the 16GB carbon black variants will begin shipping the day after Christmas with or without AT&T contracts.
