Haier displays ultra-slim LED HDTV line-up

With the number of HDTVs out in the market, it is difficult to imagine entertainment buffs complaining about lack of choice. Haier slid the covers off their ultra-slim LED TV array that are available in sizes ranging from 19” to 46”. The K-series, F-series and D-series TVs were included in this launch.

The 22” Designer F-series LED TV features a teardrop design with compact cabinet. It is available in shads of black white and pink. The D-series LED TVs are out in sizes ranging from 19” t o42”. They host HDMI, AV and component inputs as also PC and USB hook-ups. The K-series HL42XZK42 flat-screen LCD TV is attributed with speedy fastest refresh rates and 240Hz Full Motion. Its audio system is supported by SRS TruSurround XT and Auto Volume Leveler with distortion control.

The 55” K-series LCD TV offers 1080p 120Hz and permits owners to control video games, movies and images from a PC with the remote. The K-series HLB32XK2 has a Blu-ray /DVD combo, embedded Wi-Fi connection and Adobe Flash for the Digital Home. The last mentioned allows for playback of HD/DVD quality movies being streamed with pre-installed applications like Pandora and Netflix.

Technologies incorporated by select TV models consist of 120Hz Full Motion refresh rates, SRS TruSurround XT, USB Timeshift and 4-HDMI as also Energy Star 4.0 compliance. USB Timeshift technology lets users fastforward, rewind or pause a program being viewed via a USB drive connected to the USB input. SRS TruSurround XT resolves the issue of playing 5.1 or 6.1 multi-channel content over two speakers on the TV

Haier’s LED 46” HL46XSL2, 40” HL40XSL2, 32” HL32XSL2, 24” HL24XSL2, 22” HL22XSL2 and 19” HL19SL2 TVs will be out in black within the first quarter of the current year. The LED HL46XSLW2, HL40XSLW2, HL32XSLW2, HL24XSLW2, HL22XSLW2 and HL19SLW2 TVs are also set to hit shelves during the same period in the color white.

The pricing details for Haier’s TV line-up haven’t received a mention as yet.
