VTech to educate kids with MobiGo touchscreen

Parents who are falling short of places to hide their expensive mobile devices from kids can now heave a sigh of relief. VTech has introduced the MobiGo which a gaming device that employs interactive touchscreen technology to educate children aged between 3 to 8 years.
This touchscreen-enabled device aims at providing children with early learning games that will enable to sharpen their language, math and logic abilities. It exposes kids to interactive learning by letting them color pages, play games and use drawing instruments by just using their fingers. Older children can polish their typing skills with the QWERTY keypad that the gadget has been endowed with.
An online store for MobiGo that will be launched in July will offer downloadable games and also report on the child’s development. The first few users will be provided with 11 MobiGo games that will include Shrek, Disney Princesses, Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3 and more.
The MobiGo edu-gaming console can be purchased for $59.99 (approx. Rs. 2,800) through the Toys R’ Us stores. It will be available nationwide from August through retailers and online at Amazon and VTechkids.
