Barnes & Noble offers Exclusive Content and Promotions this month

Barnes & Noble has announced the in-stock online availability of its Nook eReader at nook.com and other majority B&N stores during the mid-week. Making it available just in time for Valentine’s Day, users can also enjoy exclusive holiday-themed online content.

The improved in-store connectivity lets users seamlessly access faster and free Wi-Fi in Barnes & Noble stores wherein one can access more than a million eBooks, magazines and newspapers. This February will also witness the launch of “More In Store” content and promotional offers including a short story by bestselling favorite Adriana Trigiani, Valentine’s Day recipe for red velvet cupcakes from Anne Byrn and “Read Between the Wines,” a regular feature by wine expert Kevin Zraly.

“nook is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for anyone who loves reading. Demand for nook continues to be very high, and we’re pleased our customers will be able to try and buy nook in our stores and online and enjoy it in time for the holiday,” said William J. Lynch, President of Barnes & Noble.com. “In Barnes & Noble stores, nook owners will enjoy exciting nook-only content from their favorite authors and other valuable offers, along with fast and free in-store Wi-Fi, which nook customers have been accessing in droves over the last few weeks.”

The all new Barnes & Noble in-store content is said to be updated per week for a period of four weeks. In addition, nook users can also take home any CD with 10 percent off. To redeem it, users need to show the special offer on their nook. Barnes & Noble also optimizes nook software for an improved reading experience with nook v1.2. Automatic over the air (OTA) updates.

Barnes & Noble is said to be shipping stock to the majority of its stores beginning this week.
