Apple iPad sales reach one million in 28 days

Apple iPad may have received mixed reactions. However, this didn’t stop consumers from getting their hands on the revolutionary device. The sale figures obtained will surely vouch for it. The newest announcement from Apple revealed that the company has sold their one millionth iPad just after 28 days from its release on April 3.

Moreover, iPad users are said to have downloaded more than 12 million apps from the App Store and over 1.5 million ebooks from the all new iBookstore. Well, the iPad allows users to connect to content in a fun and easy way while its Multi-touch interface further adds to the convenience.

“One million iPads in 28 days—that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Demand continues to exceed supply and we’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers.”

The iPad has received more than 5,000 exciting new apps from developers which take advantage of its Multi-Touch user interface, large screen and high-quality graphics.
