Hitachi rolls out its new CP-X2010 3LCD projector that boasts of a new 4,000-hour hybrid filter. This latest Hitachi creation ensures a lower total cost of ownership and brings in Hitachi’s trademark reliability and efficient performance.

The portable CP-X2010 projector offers 2,200 lumens of brightness and its installation is quite easy. Weighing about 7.9 pounds, the CP-X2010 packs comes integrated with 16 Watts of built-in audio, thus no hassles of external speakers.

With a low noise rating of 29 dBA in Whisper Mode, it features high contrast ratio of 500:1. Its lamp life is phenomenal with 5,000 hours in the Eco and 3,000 hours in the Standard Mode.

You can also get your hands on Hitachi’s proprietary My Buttons functionality, thus the two programmed buttons on the projector are capable of executing any projector command. It also features Captioning functionality and the input Source Naming that allows users to rename the input sources according to their needs.

It bundles up several security features like a password is requires to operate the projector each time it is moved from its fixed position, PIN Lock and MyScreen functions and also a security bar to avoid theft.

The pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
