Also known as the BV8-40, it is aimed at consumers who are on a look-out for an entry-level TV that possesses style and multiple placement options.

Ensuring a far-fetched picture and sound performance, the 40-inch BeoVision 8 TV sports a glare LCD screen and a 100hz double frame rate technology with motion compensation. It features a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 6ms response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio and 500 cd/m2 brightness. Further, it ensures the elimination of the inherent blur of LCD technology that is commonly found in the traditional television sets.

The 40-inch version of BeoVision 8 even includes Dynamic Contrast technology to improve and optimize the contrast, depending on the picture content in each scene. Additionally, the incorporation of the downward facing subwoofer and front facing speakers promise to deliver extremely natural and clearly audible sounds.
