Lavender Series of LCD Monitors unveiled by Samsung

Samsung Lavender SeriesSamsung India announced the launch of its latest series of LCD monitors. Released for the Indian market , these new LCD monitors are called the Lavender series. They are available in 21.5” and 23” screen sizes and sport a chic and stylish form factor.

Loaded with features which cater totally to the consumer’s business and entertainment needs, the novel monitors adorn the exquisite Touch of Color (ToC) design. With high-performance features, they include a contrast ratio of 50000:1, a response time of 2ms and a viewing angle of 170/160. They further incorporate a 16:9 Wide format Panel that is specifically designed and optimized for HD content.

Mr. Ranjit Singh Yadav, Director – IT Business, Samsung India, stated, “In keeping with the global and Indian market trends where the 16:9 Wide format display are rapidly becoming popular with consumers, we have introduced our stylish Lavender series in the Indian market, in the over 20” screen size segment.”

These monitors boast a distinct ToC design in rose black color. They also have a fine cut on the rear panel. As compared to other LCD models, the Lavender Series has a slimmer neck and also possesses front OSD Touch buttons that emit a red light below the panel. The exterior panels are manufactured by using non-biodegradable components thus making it 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. They are also energy efficient and consume less than 1W of power in the Power Off mode. The Lavender Series is wall mountable and is claimed to be ideal for space management.

The 21.5” Lavender Series monitor is priced at Rs.12,500 and the 23” monitor is priced at Rs13,500.
