Barnes & Noble compensates for delayed Nook
Several users are waiting to ring in Christmas by gifting their loved ones the Barnes & Noble e-book reader dubbed Nook. However, users who had placed the order and haven’t received the Nook on the desired date could be delighted to know that Barnes & Noble has taken the matter seriously.
The company ensures a USD 100 coupon to those who don’t receive the Nook on time. So, if the device hasn’t made it to users’ doorsteps is late by days, they can expect a $100 coupon as well.
This offer is for all those consumers who had expected to get their units shipped before Christmas, this year. The company has revealed that the delay has affected only a small portion of consumers. The company also said that, “We are working very hard to keep up with the demand and to get all Nook orders out the door and to customers on or before December 24.”
Recenltly, Amazon had also come up with a quicker shipment offer of its Amazon Kindle. Seemingly, e-book readers are making a great gift for this Christmas.
