PocketBook e-book Readers come to US
The US market will now receive two innovative e-book readers from Western Graphics namely, PocketBook 301+ and PocketBook 360°. Brain Plaza International will be importing and distributing PocketBook in the US.
The PocketBook 301+ boasts of a 6-inch Vizplex display and is driven by Linux OS. The e-book reader packages 512MB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB with SD memory cards. The device supports most of the existing e-book formats including epub, fb2 and prc. Further, the PocketBook 301+ also offers MP3 music playback.
The PocketBook 360° packages a 5-inch display with G-sensor, enabling automatic orientation of pages in portrait or landscape mode. The PocketBook model is made available in two shades- black and ivory. The PocketBook 360° is innovatively designed and sports a hard protective cover.
Both PocketBook e-book readers are inclusive of unique firmware, allowing immense customization and entertainment with games, themes, news, notes and dictionaries.
PocketBook 301+ carries a price tag of $275 (approx. Rs. 12,835), while the PocketBook 360° is retailed for $239.99 (approx. Rs. 11,201).
