Sparkz pico-projector support for iPhone and iPod
The over crowded Pico-projector market now has a new occupant called the Sparkz. The highlight of this new projector is that it offers compatibility with iPods along with iPhones. This egg-shaped projector is pretty different from small and simple pico projectors like the Ray.
The Sparkz is an egg-shaped projector that measures 4.5” x 3” x 2.5” in size. It is capable of projecting data directly from the iPhone, iPod Touch, gaming consoles, camcorders, PSPs and DVD and media players. The Sparkz is also compatible with laptops and computers.
This projector provides a 60-inch viewing area with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixel resolution. The battery of this device is capable of providing a run time of around 2.5 hours with a single charge. Providing 15 lumens of brightness, the Sparkz is said to provide a lamp life of 50,000 hours. The projector bundles up a removable tripod stand, AV input, headphone jack, VGA input port and power input.
The Sparkz pico-projector is currently available for purchase on the company’s official website. The projector is currently shipping only in the US and Canada and is price tagged at $495 (approx. Rs. 22,993).
