NEC launches 26-inch MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 Desktop LCD Monitor

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 NEC rolls out its latest MultiSync display, dubbed LCD2690WUXi2. The 26-inch desktop monitor is derived from the award-winning LCD2690WUXi.

Developed for graphic arts, desktop publishing, photography and other color-critical environments, the monitor features a new wider color gamut panel for enhanced blue coverage (up to 97.8 %) and improved brightness uniformity of 320 cd/m². It s other features include a native resolution of 1900 x 1200pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16:10 aspect ratio. It offers around the same work area as two smaller-sized displays for accessing multiple applications at the same time.

Certified with Specifications for Web Offset Publications (SWOP) software for accurate softproof images, the MultiSync LCD2690WUXi² has also cleared the ”GRACoL Grade 1” test, which is said to be one of the highest level examinations available for SWOP certification.

Besides, the LCD2690WUXi² also offers NEC SpectraViewII Color Calibration Solution, auto luminance control with X-Light Pro backlight/sensor design for consistent brightness and color; ColorComp technology for slight variations in luminance and color uniformity, IPS active matrix LCD for superior screen performance, internal programmable 12-bit lookup tables (LUTs) for calibration; ambient light sensor and automatic backlight adjustment and three selectable inputs (DVI-I, DVI-D, 15-pin D-sub [VGA]).

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi² desktop monitor will be available for a starting price of $1199 (approx. Rs. 58,260).
