iRex to release Wireless e-Book Reader
E-book readers are the latest trend in our hi-tech digital world. Apparently, the newest entrant into the e-book arena is a Wireless e-Book Reader from iRex.
The company is said to be preparing to release its new Wireless e-book reader, says Cnet. iRex is not new to the e-book market.
Apart from the renowned Kindle readers, Sony’s all new Readers have hit the market lately. Reportedly, iRex’s e-book reader is lager than the Kindle 2 and Sony Reader.
On the specs front, very little is known. The device is expected to flaunt an 8.1-inch display. The navigation is simplified with touchscreen capability and it also includes a stylus.
Apparently, this iRex device comes with support for wireless 3G. However, the carrier is unannounced. The availability as of now is restricted to the US and probably a few other countries. The company is likely to collaborate with an unnamed popular online e-book seller.
The e-book readers are successfully gaining popularity. Amidst the stress it causes to eyes and the striving efforts by manufacturers to make them beneficial and harmless for human viewing, the device has sustained its position in the markets across the globe.
Reportedly, the iRex Wireless e-book reader is expected to release in Fall 2009.
