Sanyo PLV-Z700 Projector

Sanyo introduces its new PLV-Z700 full HD LCD projector. Sanyo’s least expensive projector, the entry-level PLV-Z700 is apt for residential applications.

The PLV-Z700 projector features full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution,16:9 aspect ratio, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,200 ANSI lumens of brightness, UHP 165W projection lamp, 21 dBA of noise output, screen size is minimum 40” and maximum 300” and video inputs like HDMI, Component, Composite and S-Video. Measuring15.75 (W) x 5.75 (H) x 13.6 (D) inches, it weighs 16.5 lbs.

“Our entry-level Full HD projector addresses the increased interest in projection systems for home-based entertainment systems due to the rapid growth of high resolution material, from Blu-ray discs, HD game consoles and digital camcorders,” says Mark Holt, the Vice President and General Manager for SANYO’s Presentation Technologies Division. “SANYO recognizes this trend toward affordable higher quality video and the PLV-Z700 is capable of projecting large, beautiful images anywhere and now for more Americans.”

It incorporates Sanyo’s 3D color management system that reproduces perfect color by addressing changes in the color level and color phase. Its electronic shutter protects the lens from dust.

The PLV-Z700 projector will be shipping in October and is priced at $1,995 (approx Rs. 87,239).
