Smartparts launches SP3200WF and SPX8WF Digital Photo Frames

Smartparts has unveiled two new digital photo frames, dubbed SP3200WF and SPX8WF. While the SPX8WF is the company’s first Wi-Fi digital picture frame, the SP3200WF is the world’s largest Wi-Fi digital picture frame.

The SPX8WF sports eight-inch LCD screen that is capable of delivering 800 x 600 pixels of resolution, 24-bit and 16.7 million viewable colors.

The other features include 512 MB onboard memory, 802.11 b/g built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, support for SD, MS, xD, MMX, Compact Flash and USB port. It also features one-touch internet setup, automatic image correction, on-frame photo album organization and an embedded firmware lets users transfer and optimize images directly from a memory card.

The 32-inch Smartparts SP3200WF comes equipped with 1366×768, 16:9 widescreen, wireless network to automatically recognize and connect to a wireless router, Smartparts’ exclusive OptiPix Pro software to locate, optimize and wirelessly transfer pictures to their frame from their computer, without altering the original photo.

It supports JPEG, AVI and WMA file formats, with sound. It is compliant with SD, MS, and Compact Flash memory cards. It even is even capable of displaying PowerPoint slides, PDF files, and most picture and graphic files. All these can be operated through the RF remote control that works with 100ft.

Both the frames possess real wood with espresso finish, which allow users to access Windows Live Photo Gallery by partnering with Microsoft. This enables users to share and view photos online or directly on the frame’s screen.

The SPX8WF is slated to roll out in November and will retail for $149.99 (approx. Rs. 6,930), whereas the details on the SP3200WF digital photo frame are not known.
