Slimmest 24-inch V2400W Widescreen LCD introduced by BenQ

BenQ V2400W

BenQ has unveiled its latest LCD display, called V2400W. The company claims that the display is the slimmest 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor, and has a thickness of only 2.44-inches.

To develop this display, BenQ has added asymmetry and aerodynamic curves of the B-2 stealth bomber with Kinergy Design. It features a 4000:1 contrast ratio, new RHCM (Rapid Heat Cycle Molding) injection process and full 1080p HD support as well as a subtle blue LED and slick touch controls.

“The V2400W is inspired by the B2 stealth bomber, evoking a sense of mystery, awe and the elite. In addition, the display’s asymmetry exemplifies our new design philosophy. One is captivated by its suspended energy, expecting the screen to tilt. But it stands still, as if time were frozen and the movement paused,” mentioned Manfred Wang, Director of the BenQ Lifestyle Design Center.

Furthermore, BenQ V2400W includes HDMI with HDCP, DVI-D and VGA inputs offering future-proof high-definition connectivity along with compatibility. It also features Senseye+photo Human Vision Technology that provides amazing true-to-life colors, the monitor’s five preset modes such as Dynamic, Photo, Standard, Movie and sRGB ensures optimized viewing at the touch of a button.

A rotary force and friction between the metallic parts of the hinge have been accurately calculated so that the right-sided stand can safely support the 24-inch widescreen, delivering maximum flexibility to adjust viewing angles.

The mirror-black finished LCD monitor is NSTL-compliant and offers superior color precision consistent from monitor to printer to digital camera to any visual device. With the help of BenQ’s Advanced Motion Accelerator Technology (AMA), V2400W displays a crisp, clean detail free of blur and ghosting video for fast 2ms GTG response time.

While, the BenQ V2400W slim LCD monitor will roll out in China and Asian market in March, European and North American region will get their hands-on it in April. Price is unclear.
