ViewSonic has announced to unveil VP50 Series of LCD displays in India. The newly launched series includes 22-inch widescreen VP2250wb, 26-inch widescreen VP2650wb and traditional 4:3 19-inch VP950. The VP50 Series features up to 110 per cent color gamut (VP 2650wb) based on the National Television System Committee ( NTSC) guidelines and OptiColorTM technology for better accuracy and more detailed images in any viewing environment.

Speaking on the launch Gautam Ghosh, Country Manager, ViewSonic Technologies India said “ViewSonic always believes in introducing products which are not only technologically advanced but are also the trendsetters of the category. The VP50 series is specially designed for professionals who not only demand quality visual experience but also advanced color precision.

Besides, the VP50 Series of LCD displays are equipped with quick response time, dynamic contrast ratio and four USB ports.

The VP950b display features 1280×1024 native resolution, 2ms response time, 280 nits of brightness (typ) and a 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typ). While the VP2250wb is equipped with a 1680×1050 native resolution, 2ms response time and 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typ) for clear, crisp images and beautiful color quality.

The VP2650wb boosts a 1920×1200 native resolution, 3ms response time and a
3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typ) providing the ability to display true high definition 1080p content and deliver fluid, full-motion images.

Besides, all the new displays include PerfectSuite Plus software, for easy settings adjustments, color calibration, asset management and theft deterrence feature. Also the new series is Windows Vista certified and supports HDCP too. Ultra-slim bezel featuring advanced ergonomic adjustments-including 4.7-inch height adjustment range, a 120 degree swivel, pivot and tilt is an additional advantage. Plus the VP50 series models offer multiple displays with the new ThinEdge design and integrated mounting holes.

ViewSonic’s VP2250wb is available in the Indian market at the price of Rs 29,999. However, pricing and availability information of VP2650wb and VP950 is not known as of now.
