Logitech intros QuickCam Pro 9000 and QuickCam Pro for Notebooks Webcams in India

Logitech has announced the expansion of its webcam series with two new products, called the QuickCam Pro 9000 and QuickCam Pro for Notebooks, in the Indian market.

Developed for laptops, the webcams come with lenses that have been created with the help of Carl Zeiss, which offers image-perfect detail and clear quality of video calls.

According to the report, the QuickCam Pro 9000 and the QuickCam Pro for Notebooks are the first webcams to meet Zeiss’ world-renowned standards for lens design and manufacturing. These lightweight and compact webcams are equipped with a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens to produce superior sharpness.

Both the webcams utilize a premium auto-focus system to provide fast, fluid focusing, without the need to manual focusing, delivering image-edge sharpness. Its auto-focus system has the ability to refocus images in less than 3 second to deliver crisp image quality even in extreme close-up (up to 10 cm from the camera lens).

Logitech’s QuickCam Pro 9000 sports a 2 mega-pixel sensor along with 8 mega-pixel photos, RightSound and RightLight 2 Technology. The device supports well-known video messaging applications such as Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM.

Moreover, this system can record video at up to 30 frames per second and is compatible with 720p HD video format. You can also record the video to disc at a 960x720p resolution, allowing to share video clips. An ideal product for office and home use, it carries a stylish flexible universal base, enabling to rest comfortably on almost any monitor.

The QuickCam Pro for Notebooks bundles a protective travel case, stylish stand for it to be placed on desktops and an adjustable, sprint-tension clips for professionals who are often on the run. It also supports Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM video messaging applications. Similar to the previous mentioned model, this webcam can also record video up to 30 frames per second and even record to disc at 960×720 pixels resolution.

Compatible with 720p high-definition video format, it provides 2 mega-pixel sensor that can capture up to 8 mega-pixel photos, RightSound and RightLight 2 Technology that can automatically adjust low and uneven lighting environments. This technology can also reduce background noise, eliminate echo and feedback with new noise suppression.

Logitech also offers a video effect that includes avatars, face accessories and the new Fun Filters. You can even transform yourself into a 3D animated character.

Priced at Rs. 6,495, the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 and the Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks webcams are currently available via Rashi PeriPherals, in India.
