Envision Peripherals has launched its new widescreen LCD display, named the Envision E218c1. This 22-inch display is Windows Vista Premium Certified that offers Web-based Personal Communications.

This latest monitor comes equipped with an in-built 1.3 megapixel webcam for video conferencing and video instant messaging, an integrated echo- canceling microphone that offers clear, feedback-free communication.

An ideal display to maximize desktop space, this slim bezel mointor also help the consumer to navigate between multiple side-by-side applications and columns in tables or spreadsheets. It delivers 1680X1050 screen resolution, 5-millisecond response rate and 700:1 contrast ratio for vivid, true-to-life image quality with exceptional clarity for viewing fast-paced action programs or video games.

“The Envision E218c1 excels at everything from productivity and gaming to watching movies and connecting with family, friends and colleagues via the Internet. It’s designed for personal and business users who don’t want the hassle of installing separate components to take advantage of advanced Internet communications capabilities including VoIP, video conferencing and video-enabled instant messaging,” stated Michael Lien, GM, North American Brand Sales.

Featuring the Digital Video Input w/HDCP interface, you can enjoy high quality audio and video playback from the new HD program sources such HD DVD and Blu-ray DVDs. It has the ability to offer HD 720P/1080i compatibility to display digital TV programming delivered by Cable, Satellite and other Set Top Boxes equipped with DVI-HDCP.

The E218c1 also sports incorporated stereo speakers, 3-port USB hub to connect digital camera, flash drives, mice and keyboard directly to the monitor. Developed to meet environment standards, it provides energy efficiency, EPA ENERGY STAR and ROHS.

Envision 22-inch E218c1 has hit the US market for $329.99 (approx. Rs. 13,200), via Envision distributors and channel partners.
