Hitachi CP-X417 3LCD Projector Introduced
Hitachi has unveiled its new projector, named the CP-X417. This 3LCD projector features 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity to connect and present with 4 PCs simultaneously and networking functionality, ensuring multiple projections from a remote location.
Featuring the company’s proprietary P J Man software, consumers has the ability to monitor the status of the projector or many projectors that includes power on/off, input source and lamp/filter hours as well as control all functions, with ease. With this software, user can also set power on/off time. The projector provides e-mail alerts for scheduled maintenance or error conditions, password protection, offering a new level of control to the user.
This latest 3LCD projector delivers 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and native XGA resolution. It also bundles 2 RGB inputs, one RGB output, component, composite and S-Video inputs along with built-in 7-watt audio output.
“The benefits of remote management of projectors in numerous applications, ranging from schools to corporate environments to houses of worship, has challenged manufacturers to incorporate networking technology that is both sophisticated and user-friendly,” mentioned Pete Denes, vice president of sales, Hitachi America, Ltd., Ubiquitous Platform Systems Division, Business Group. “The introduction of the CP-X417 demonstrates Hitachi’s ongoing commitment to provide end-users with an unmatched level of convenience, extending the intuitive operation of Hitachi projectors to include simple and effective system-wide management.”
Hitachi’s My Screen software gives access to users to display preset images, which appears while powering up the system. Furthermore, the My Buttons features on the unit’s remote control, enabling the owner to customize buttons on the remote as per their requirement. The side-mounted high-performance filter and top door lamp are also included into the device.
The company’s latest gadget also equips security features such as transition detector, Kensingtion slot and security bar. In addition, CP-X417 also comes with a low fan noise of 29 dB in Whisper Mode and a lamp life of 3,000 hours in Whisper Mode.
Price and availability of Hitachi CP-X417 3LCD projector is not announced.

Does the audio is also transmitted through wifi on this projector.
