Apple iMac Touchscreen now Available in the US

Apple iMac Touchscreen Apple aluminum iMac gets the internally integrated touchscreen products from Troll Touch, provider of custom touchscreen systems for Apple hardware. This touchscreen interface will be available on the current Apple 20- and 24-inch aluminum iMacs.

Featuring high resolution, analog resistive touchscreen technology, both the systems are compatible with input through fingertip, gloved hand or stylus. Troll has internally connected the touchscreen with the help of one of the machines USB ports.

The company has integrated the touchscreen in such a way that a casual observer will not find the modified system. Troll does not alter the machine’s form factor that makes the iMacs look as original.

The touchscreen technique is available on Apple 20-, 23- and 30-inch Cinema displays, the MacBook laptops, all previous iMac generations, the eMac and both the 12- and 14-inch iBook laptop models.

  • 24-inch touch upgrade, customer supplied iMac: $1499 (approx. Rs. 60,000)
