Pentax Optio VS20 16MP compact digital camera arriving next month
After wrapping the previous year with the 16MP Optio RZ18 and a built-to-order camera kit, a certain American camera manufacturer is all set to release the Pentax Optio VS20. The compact digital camera is fitted with a 16MP CCD sensor and is said to be capable of efficiently capturing horizontal as well as vertical images.
The lens delivers an optical zoom of up to 20x that covers focal lengths ranging from 28mm wide angle to 560mm super-telephoto. This allows users to cover an extensive range of subjects like landscapes, sports events, and more. To enhance the quality of vertical shots, an additional release button as well as a second zoom lever is provided. This is supported by a vertical position tripod socket which secures the camera in the desired arrangement.
Embedded with a 3-inch HVGA LCD monitor treated with anti glare coating, the device offers a 170° wide view for easy reviewing of captured images. In a bid to let users add a creative touch to images, the gadget is loaded with several mode options like fish-eye and sketch, a stretch filter, and more.
Dressed in noble black as well as brilliant white, the VS20 is expected to deliver blur-free images with its triple shake reduction mechanism.
