The Nikon D3200, the latest DSLR camera from the company is a sequel to the D3100 and features wireless connectivity options along with improved operation. The entry-level shooter can be used in conjunction with the WU-1a Wireless Mobile adapter to wirelessly preview and send images to Android smartphones or tablets or remotely control the DSLR.

The lightweight D3200 is integrated with a 24.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and allows continuous recording at the rate of 4 frames per second, even in low light conditions. Powered by the Nikon Expeed 3 image processing engine, its ISO range is between 100 and 6400 and this can also be expanded to ISO 12,800. Besides functions like the Scene Recognition system, six scene modes and 3D Color Matrix Metering II, the shooter has been included with the Guide Mode that can be launched via the Mode dial on the body.

The Nikon D3200 DSLR camera can capture 1080p videos at the rate of 24 to 30 frames per second and allows using full-time auto focus while shooting videos. Integrated with a microphone, it comes with manual as well as automatic exposure control and a dedicated button to start recording. The 3-inch LCD allows users to compose as well as preview images. Moreover, it extends support to the company’s DX-format and FX-format lenses in addition to the Nikon Speedlight system. The DSLR can be picked up in shades of black and red.

The Nikon D3200 DSLR price with the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR image stabilization lens is $699.95 (approx. Rs. 36,250) and will be available for purchase this month. The WU-1a Wireless Mobile adapter will go up for sale in May for $59.95 (approx. Rs. 3,100).
