Panasonic HC-V10

With the latest Panasonic HC-V10 camcorder, photographers will never miss out on shooting distant objects thanks to its 70x optical zoom. Featuring a dedicated button for HD video recording, the camera comes with common attributes like Intelligent Auto and image stabilizer.

The camcorder is equipped with 63x optical zoom lens along with enhanced 70x optical zoom function. Videos can either be recorded in the MP4 format or in iFrame to facilitate quick importing and editing on most software. Like most other Panasonic cameras, it is also inclusive of the iA mode to automatically select the apt settings for the scene. And Power O.I.S with the Active mode eliminates blurring because of hand or camera shake to create clear images.

“Panasonic’s HC-V10 camcorder, a ‘go anywhere’ model, offers users a HD camcorder that is easy to shoot with, easy to download, and easy to share. The HC-V10 has taken a major step up from models of previous years, upgrading Panasonic’s standard image quality to provide crisp, clear HD video. Additionally, the zooming functionality has been increased to capture even distant subjects with extreme detail,” commented Chris Rice, Senior Product Manager, Imaging, Panasonic Consumer Marketing Company of North America.

The Panasonic HC-V10 camcorder’s Intelligent Contrast control should ensure toned images, and the Intelligent Scene Selector automatically selects the suitable scene. The Pre-Rec function allows users to start capturing videos three seconds before beginning recording. Further, its 31.6mm wide-angle is apt for indoor shooting as well as wide angle landscapes. The recorded videos and images can be saved on to the microSD cards which can be inserted in its expansion slot.

It is loaded with the HD Writer HE 1.0 software for editing and sharing purposes with timeline mode. The Smart Wizard mode allows easy transferring files to a system and the aforementioned software refrains users from re-copying a file to the PC. This software also facilitates uploading videos on websites like Facebook and YouTube. The device will be available in shades of black, silver and red.

The Panasonic HC-V10 release date and price are currently under wraps.
