Fujifilm X-S1 bridge camera features Fujinon 26x optical zoom lens

The newest addition to the Fujifilm X series is the Fujifilm X-S1 bridge camera. It promises to deliver high quality pictures through its various features including the Fujinon 26x optical zoom lens and 52x zoom range of 24-1248mm.

Possessing a maximum aperture of f/2.8, the X-S1 features various modes that help in the photo capturing process. One such functionality is the Super Macro mode which makes it possible to focus down to 1cm for close-up images. The camera’s lens contains 17 glass elements, of which four are aspherical ones and two are ED lenses. These elements claim to offer utmost clarity and detailing of pictures.

This new camera features a 12MP EXR CMOS sensor and is integrated with an internal memory of 26MB. It facilitates shooting of up to 10 frames per second and comes with a large EVF possessing 1.44 million pixels as well as a 26 degree viewing angle. Users can clearly watch their fond memories appear on the tiltable 3-inch rear LCD with Sunny mode and can even employ various shooting functions like manual, program, aperture-priority and shutter-priority.

Photo enthusiasts can make use of the eight film simulation and white balance options, four auto bracketing tools and a Raw file format that the camera is equipped with. It has been designed with rubberized coating and can provide up to 500 shots on a single charge of the NP-95 Li-ion battery. The variety of picture enhancing modes includes 360 degree motion panorama, PASM and film simulation.

The Fujifilm X-S1 bridge camera price is tagged at £699 (approx. Rs. 56,615) and is expected to arrive in the UK around February next year.
