Fujifilm extends A series with four new stylish cameras

Fujifilm last caught our attention with five new J series’ slim, compact digital cameras which come along with glossy finishes and curved edges. The company has moved in with four new additions to its FinePix A series namely the AV200, AV250, AX300 and AX350.
The 14MP AV200 and 16MP AV250 cameras come equipped with a 3x Fujinon zoom while the 14MP AX300 and 16MP AX350 with a Fujinon 5x zoom lens. These offerings flaunt Fuji’s Digital Image Stabilisation technology for vibrant, crisp images. These models are also capable of capturing impeccable 1080p HD images and 720p videos.
The SR Auto mode precisely examines the scene type and shooting conditions. Further, it optimizes the camera’s focus, exposure and white balance to capture excellent photos. Owners can select one of 21 pre-programmed scene modes for an advanced experience. The Picture Search feature enables users to search images with utmost ease. These trendy cameras bundle together interesting elements like Motion Panorama mode and Face Detection technology with auto red-eye removal.
The AV200 and AX300 will be available in February 2011 for $89.95 (approx Rs. 4,059) and $99.95 (approx Rs. 4,510) respectively. The pricing and availability details of the AV250 and AX350 are unclear as of now.
