Want to own some snappy digital camera with the ability to withstand tough conditions? The option has just rolled out. Pentax has just drenched its adventure camera Pentax Optio W90 in orange color, making it even more appealing.
Designed specially for voyages, the 12.1 megapixel camera also offers 5x optical zoom. The rugged device equips a large 2.7-inch LCD with 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for easy viewing in strong light or underwater. The W90 is waterproof up to 20 feet, shockproof up to 4 feet, coldproof up to 14 degrees, and dustproof in dry and sandy climates.
The Digital Microscope mode with LED lens provided in the camera captures small but intriguing subjects. Movies are captured in widescreen 720p HD video at 30 frames per second by the device. The Optio W90 kit consists of a woven Web fabric strap complete with a carabiner to attach the camera to a backpack and other outdoor gear.
Other highlights of the camera are fast Face Detection, Smile Capture, Blink Detection, processing modes specifically designed for portraiture, infrared remote control capabilities, an autofocus lamp, and an HDMI port.
The newly dipped Pentax Optio W90 will be available beginning July and is priced at $329.95 (approx Rs. 15,240).
