Users can now easily record HD movies with the help of an easy-to-reach red ‘direct button’ that is placed on the back of the camera body.
Its Live Guide simplifies great photography and delivers the results one desires at the touch of a button. Users who want a brighter or darker subject, more vivid or muted color in their shot can simply press ok while in iAuto, select Live Guide and make adjustments before capturing the shot. To deliver a great user experience, the E-PL1 features six in-camera Art filters, including a new filter called Gentle Sepia. This particular filter touts to offer images and videos a soft warm sepia cast similar to historical images and joins Pop Art, Soft Focus, Pin Hole, Grainy Film and Diorama.
Apart from this, users can now enjoy blur-free images, thanks to its In-body Image Stabilization that automatically compensates for camera shake in low light or when shooting without a tripod. The device further hugs a built-in pop-up flash that makes it easy to illuminate low-light subjects, reduce red eye, and fill in dark areas.
From portraits to sunset shots, the offering is enriched with 19 Scene-Select modes for effortless picture taking, including Fireworks, Sunset, Children, Macro and Panorama.
The new Olympus Pen E-PL1 can now be purchased for $599.99 (approx Rs. 26,549).
