Hitachi to showcase new products at NAB-2010 show

Hitachi Ltd. is all set to celebrate its 100 year anniversary this year. To commemorate the joyous occasion the Hitachi Kokusai will showcase loads of new products at the NAB-2010. This show is scheduled to take place from April 10 to 15, 2010 as the Las Vegas Convention Center. The booth is set to sport a new design where Hitachi will showcase all its new products.

The Hitachi Kokusai NAB-2010 booth will reveal some of the most important offerings which are an outcome of all the customer feedback received in the past few years. The array is expected to give customers a taste of the HDTV product line as well as other devices such as encoders, cameras, ISDB-T transmitters and digital microwave systems. A noteworthy product which will also be showcased at the event is the SK-HD1000 camera line from Hitachi. This device along with the Z-HD5000 camera systems can be seamlessly controlled and configured with the help of easily available IT routing switching equipment.

We’ve fortified our commitment to providing the best value in production HDTV cameras with a new lower-priced configuration of our popular Z-HD5000 fiber-optic HDTV camera system. And with the mindshare being captured by 3D-HDTV, Hitachi continues to develop the advanced visual technologies that are embraced by the market,” stated Hitachi Kokusai Electric America National Sales Manager Sean Moran.

The DK-H100 and DK-Z50 point-of-view cameras features 2/3-in IT CCDs, simultaneous SMPTE-292M 1920x1080i, switchable 59.94/50Hz operation, analog (Y,Pb,Pr/ RGBS) HD outputs, SMPTE-259M SD-SDI and TCP/IP network control. They also include motorized five-position filter wheel, 14-bit ADC, variable shutter to 1/10,000sec, 38-bit DSP and full integration/ compatibility with existing SK-HD1000/ Z-HD5000 control panels. The cameras comprise of a newly developed ‘control teaming mode’. The DK-H100 employs 2.3 million pixel IT-CCDs while the DK-Z50 uses the same sensor espied in the Z-HD500 HDTV camera.
