Sanyo flashes new DMX-CG100 and DMX-GH1 Full HD Video Cameras

Xacti Video Cameras

On the prowl for a super-stylish digital video camera with a slew of innovative attributes? Call a halt! Sanyo has just introduced its new Xacti Series of video cameras with two models – the DMX-CG100 and DMX-GH1.

Enshrouded in slim and compact designs, the new models capture Full HD video and high-definition photos, based on the Dual Camera concept of taking both videos and photos with one camera. The Xacti series are designed to be portable, making it easy for users to conveniently carry it anywhere, anytime.

By taking advantage of a convenient video format that can be easily handheld on PC and Internet environments, as well as on home TVs, the devices are perfect for capturing, viewing and saving images. Both the cameras can capably capture Full HD video (1920 x 1080 (60i)) and 14 mega-pixel high-resolution photos.

Besides, the DMX-CG100 and DMX-GH1 integrate Sanyo’s proprietary Double Range Zoom feature for zoom operation while filming video. With this equipped technology, users can now effectively switch between two zoom ranges, a Wide Mode and a Tele Mode, which changes the size of the video capture area on the image sensor.

Other salient features include Digital Image Stabilizer and Face Chaser Function for videos, Reverse Sequential Shot Function to prevent the missing of photo opportunities, Mini HDMI Terminal for the enjoyment of even more beautiful Full HD resolution, and Eye-Fi card compatibility for automatic uploading of images to a computer.

The new Sanyo Xacti Series of video cameras is anticipated to be available on April 16, 2010. The pricing details are yet to be announced.
