Sanyo unfurls new stylish Dual Cameras

Photography zealots may be seen flashing their smiles and posing even more once this bit of news touches the ‘cognizance-board’. Sanyo has recently taken the wraps off all-new three dual cameras, the VPC-GH2, VPC-CG102, and VPC-CG20, featuring Full High Definition 1080 60i (1920×1080) video and up to 14 MP photo capability.
Enshrouded in complete swank and sheet of top-notch functionality, these latest offerings proffer a convenient way to capture both videos and photos in daily life or for special events. Wrapped up in sleek, compact design, the GH2, CG102 and CG20 can capably record full HD 1080 60i videos and up to 14MP high resolution still photos, which can be saved to SD, SDHC or ultra-high capacity SDXC (from 64 GB to 2 TB) memory cards.
“Ultra-portability coupled with Full HD videos and high quality photos in one camera make them perfect for capturing life as it happens,” stated Tom Van Voy, General Manager of the Consumer Products Group for SANYO North America. “Sanyo’s new Dual Cameras deliver a number of next generation features at an incredibility affordable price. Consumers are going to be blown away.”
The stylish and highly exquisite GH2 and CG102 proudly hug a new ‘double-range zoom’, which intelligently conjugates both a wide-angle and telephoto zoom for videos, switchable at the touch of a button, allowing up to 12x double-range zoom. On the noticeable spectrum, these cameras are all thumb-operable, for overly facile, one-handed operation.
The GH2 comes equipped with dual-positioning buttons enabling photography fiends to capture videos and photos from the back or the front of the camera, making shooting lower angles more convenient. On the other hand, the CG20 features a 5x optical zoom lens.
Emerging as an advanced, ultra-convenient solution for recording and shooting digital photos and videos, these dual cameras allow users to upload photos and videos to the Web quickly and easily. These devices record pictures or videos in formats optimized for instantly sharing on social networking sites. Further, videos are shot in MPEG4, AVC/H.264 format, recording the audio and video as one file, reducing the need for special software to use on a PC. In fact, users can now easily import, edit and view files on PCs running Windows 7 and Windows Live Mobile Maker. Not to forget, the integrated Advanced Zoom technology helps in achieving zooming without image degradation.
Anticipated to hit shelves in March, the VPC-GH2 and VPC-CG102 will have priced at $229 (approx Rs. 10,675) while VPC-CG20 will carry a price tag of $199 (approx Rs. 5,547).
