Tech world doesn’t seem to be running dry of digital camera news at all. Adding to the host of snappy offerings we’ve reported is the Fujifilm FinePix Z700EXR digital camera that is scheduled to see a March 2010 release date. The camera combines EXR sensor technology and a 3.5” 16:9 high resolution touchscreen in a sleek form factor.

The 460k-pixel responsive touchscreen display offers user-friendly navigation of the camera’s various functions. Videos can be recorded in 720p HD resolutions on this 12MP device and viewed on the home TV via an optional HD Player. Dual Direction GUI and Dual Image Display intelligence provide owners with a convenient way of operating the camera. Users can choose from EXR Priority mode, dynamic range or high sensitivity and low noise mode if not EXR Auto mode to shoot photos.

“The Z-Series category has always been Fujifilm’s flagship fashionista camera line and the Z700EXR is no exception,” averred David Troy, marketing manager, Consumer Digital Cameras, Electronic Imaging Division, Fujifilm North America Corporation. “The new touch screen interface and Super CCD EXR sensor gives fashion-forward consumers a digital experience in tune with the technology of today.”

Other key attributes of the Z700EXR encompass automatic scene recognition, Super Intelligent Flash, Touch Shot, easy web upload, pet detection, face detection, automatic red-eye removal and dual IS. The 16.9mm thin Fujifilm FinePix Z700EXR digital camera will hit shelves in shades of red, black, silver and pink. It will carry a $279.95 (approx. Rs.12,946) price tag.
