Fujifilm flashes new FinePix XP10 Digital camera

Photography fiends may now be filled to the brim with bounce and brio. Well, Fujifilm has recently unveiled the all-new FinePix XP10, a high-performance digital camera. Stepping in as an ergonomically ‘life proof’ camera, the device is housed in a metal uni-body chassis with a tactile grip finish.
Vaunting off an exceptional 12 megapixel CCD sensor, the top-notch camera sports a 2.7-inch high-contrast LCD for better viewing and a high-precision Fujinon 5x periscopic optical zoom lens with a reinforced protective lens barrier. Togged in sleek, chiseled design, the XP10 is waterproof up to 10 feet, shockproof up to 3 feet, freezeproof up to 14°F, and dustproof as well.
“The FinePix XP10 takes our best-selling Z33WP to the next level,” stated David Troy, marketing manager, Consumer Digital Cameras, Electronic Imaging Division, Fujifilm North America Corporation. “With the intense redesign, the FinePix XP10 gives users extreme photographic support by providing them with the ability to take their camera into virtually any type of environment without worrying about it getting damaged.”
The digital camera offers stunning movies in 720p with sound and high quality stills with one touch ease and hugs AF function for tracking fast moving subjects. Besides, the exquisite and highly-appealing device features ‘Scene Recognition Auto’ which intelligently identifies the scene type and necessary shooting conditions to optimize picture perfect potential.
Additionally, the piece comes integrated with Face Detection and Automatic Red-eye Removal features. Its digital image stabilization further reduces image blur automatically and offers creative adaptability and unrivaled picture quality. On the other hand, the long-life rechargeable Li-ion battery (up to 165 shots) allows for extended use without worrying if the camera is going to last for the duration of the trip.
The brand-new FinePix XP10 will be available in late February 2010 with a price tag that reads at $199.95 (approx Rs. 9,227).
