Fujifilm FinePix S1500 digital camera introduced
For all those who have been looking for an SLR-styled digital camera at an affordable price, Fujifilm has introduced the new FinePix S1500 with a 10 MP sensor.
Enclosed in a black casing, it features Fujinon 12x optical zoom, Dual Image Stabilization and SR Auto (Automatic Scene Recognition). The SR Auto (Automatic Scene Recognition) automatically recognizes six types of scenes while Fujifilm’s Picture Stabilization Technology utilizes fast shutter speeds along with ISO high sensitivity to eliminate blurring of images.
The FinePix S1500’s spec sheet has several other powerful features like a 2.7-inch high-resolution (230k dots) LCD, electronic viewfinder (EVF) and ISO 1600 at full resolution. The camera allows Full Manual Photographic Control, Face Detection identifies and prioritizes faces, Automatic Red Eye Removal detects and fixes red eye, Instant Zoom makes it easier to frame and compose shots and the 14 pre-programmed scene modes provide one-touch setting.
The camera also features Continuous High Speed Shooting mode, Panoramic Shooting mode, VGA quality at 30 frames per second with sound, SD / SD-HC compatible slot and 4xAA batteries.
The FinePix S1500fd is retail priced at $249.95 (approx Rs. 12,408) and will be available in March 2009.
