Fujifilm 10 MP FinePix S2000HD launched in India
Fujifilm has introduced its FinePix S2000HD digital camera in India. This 10 megapixel camera with 15x optical zoom supports HDTV systems for still images and movies. The S2000HD along with quality features lets users view clear HD photos and movies on their HDTVs.
This Finepix camera captures movie at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and stills at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It packs in a remote control and cable.

With the 15x optical zoom lens, it captures landscapes, interiors, large group shots and also distant sports and wildlife action. In dual stabilization mode, mechanically stabilized CCD sensor coupled with high ISO sensitivities minimize blurring due to hand-shake and subject movement photos.
“The S2000HD’s HD compatibility means that the whole family can now appreciate the impact of their family photos and videos on full-screen, high-definition TV,” added A. Rajkumar, Country General Manager (DSC), Fujifilm India.
The camera captures maximum 33 frames continuously (3MP mode). This is apt for clicking fast moving actions like running kids, sports events or wildlife pictures. The playback mode enables quick and easy search of data from the massive content stored in the camera.
This Fujifilm camera with its Face Detection technology identifies 10 faces in a frame and adjusts the focus and exposure accordingly. The automatic red-eye removal feature automatically corrects the red-eye in a picture instantly. In addition to this, the Instant zoom feature enables wide viewing area around the frame to capture a subject located far away. Users can take three continuous clicks at different degrees of magnification with single press on the button and also edit them on the camera itself. This is made possible by the Zoom Bracketing feature.
Fujifilm’s this camera incorporates the Real Photo Technology designed from the ground up to capture realistic images.
One can either frame shots using the high quality electronic viewfinder or the bright 2.7-inch LCD screen at 60 fps. In dual shot mode, one can shoot two pictures in succession one with flash and one without flash. Thus, enables them to compare and choose the better one.
Measuring 111.0mm (W) ×78.9mm (H) ×75.7mm (D), this camera bundles up pre-programmed scene modes, approximately 55MB internal memory and programmed AE, Shutter Priority AE, Manual mode with innumerable metering and focus options. It stores still images in JPEG, movies in MPEG4, audio in WAVE and Monaural sound formats.
The camera also sports 5.7x digital zoom and works at 1/4 sec to 1/1000sec (AUTO mode) or 4 sec to 1/1000 sec (all other modes) shutter speed.
Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD digital camera is backed by three years of warranty and is available in India for Rs. 13,999.
