Pentax Optio E60 compact digital camera announced
Pentax announces the launch of its new Pentax Optio E60 compact digital camera. This entry-class camera is easy to use and lets the beginners enjoy high definition images with its massive 10.1 megapixels sensor.
Pentax Optio E60 equips an optical 3x zoom lens, wide angle of view from 32mm to 96mm in 35mm format, auto picture, face recognition, 2.4 inch LCD, 6.3MB of internal memory, SD/SDHC support and AA batteries. It features some quality functions that are useful while traveling like the world time function and date imprint function.
Pentax Optio E60 comes with a Green mode which lets you set sensitivity, exposure and other features with a one touch button. You can easily retrieve the images deleted accidentally with the built-in Image Recovery function. Its high sensitivity digital SR mode reduces camera shake as well as blurring of the images. The sensitivity is automatically adjusted to match the brightness of the subject.
The Optio E60 offers the Panorama mode that allows you to compose photographs into 1 panoramic picture. The camera also features a full flat design when powered off, thus making it convenient and portable. Optio E60’s 16-frame continuous shooting enables you to continuously shoot 16 images (640 x 480).
The Optio E60 includes the ACDSee for PENTAX 3.0 viewer/image management software. It supports Windows Vista, Support PictBridge, Eixf Print, DPOF functions and PRINT Image Matchin.
The Pentax Optio is expected to be priced below $140 (approx Rs. 5,949) and will be available in October.
