EKA Field Ready GPS Camera Launched in India

EKA Designs announces the launch of its Field Ready GPS Camera in India. The unique product ensures an effective usage in different environments to tag the locational coordinates onto the picture along with altitude and date/time. The camera automatically embeds latitude and longitude onto the picture.

EKA Designs has built the GPS receiver SE-1 around the RICOH 500 SE Digital Camera.

Besides, the GPS camera sports 8.0 megapixel resolution, wireless and Bluetooth connectivity and field ready functionality. It also has the ability to load the pictures onto the computer and link to popular mapping softwares that comprises of Google Earth and arcGIS. This assures a crucial planning of activities in the Geographical information System (GIS). The field ready GPS camera is an ideal product for field activities such as putting up water pipes, laying power or optical fiber cables, or to erect electrical or cell phone towers.

Moreover, the state-of-the-art and rugged digital camera boasts its Single Hand operation with extensive features such as dust, rain and water proof. Alternatively, the camera also has the SE-3 receiver to determine the direction from which the photograph was taken. It acts as a useful device for accessing critical applications like drawing boundaries, analyzing pictures of natural disasters etc.
