Pentax K100D Super DSLR Camera Introduced
Pentax, an imaging company has announced the availability of its new K100D Super digital SLR camera.
The K100D Super is built on the popular PENTAX K100D digital SLR camera that first shipped in July 2006. However, it sports more advanced and innovative features such as PENTAX Shake Reduction (SR) system, an innovative Dust Removal (DR) system, and full compatibility with PENTAX SDM lenses.
Besides, the new K100D Super incorporates 6.1-megapixel (APS-C size CCD). It also has a Dust Removal system to help keep the CCD surface dust-free. Also the camera is compatible with SDM lenses.
Users can view images on a large 2.5-inch LCD monitor, which features 210,000-pixel resolution. Also the camera is compatible with Auto Picture and Picture modes as well as new Scene modes, ISO 3200 max sensitivity and SDHC.
The high-precision Penta mirror viewfinder features a 96% field of view and 0.85X magnification. The camera is housed in a high-rigidity stainless-steel chassis and has a very sleek look.
The Pentax K100D Super DSLR camera will be priced at US $599.95 (approx Rs. 24,500) and will be available from August 2007.

Pretty cheap for a DSLR.
