Yesterday Casio announced a special edition of Exilim Z75 digital camera to raise awareness and to help fight with breast cancer. National Breast Cancer Foundation, US and Casio, together will ship the new edition.

The special Exilim Z75 will be shipped in pink ribbon logo and a lanyard with a ribbon. Considering the functions, the special edition is as same as the normal Sxilim Z75 featuring 7.2-megapixel, a 3X optical zoom lens, a 2.8-inch preview LCD, processor-based anti-blur correction etc.

“We are proud to be a sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation,” said Bill Heuer, Vice President of Casio’s Digital Imaging Division. “We hope that by purchasing the EX-Z75 in honor of breast cancer patients and survivors, users will capture every valuable moment with their friends and family.”

Casio has reduced the price of the Pink Exilim Z75 from $230 to $180 (approx Rs.7,260) and it will be available in the US market in October 2007.
