Lenovo ThinkCentre M77 desktop arrives to aid business users
Lenovo has added another choice to its wide collection of PCs in the form of the newly unveiled Lenovo ThinkCentre M77 desktop. This device follows the launch of its predecessor, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M71z, which hit shelves some months back.
The M77 has specially been made for business professionals and claims to be a durable, secure and energy efficient tool for managing day-to-day office tasks. It is powered by the new AMD FX-series processor and is incorporated with DASH 1.1 to offer reportedly better manageability and serviceability.
Tom Shell, vice president and general manager, Commercial Desktop Business Unit, Lenovo, stated, “Previously, this level of processing performance has only been available in premium PCs. The ThinkCentre M77 desktop with the new AMD FX-series processors provide mainstream users a noticeable productivity difference, while simultaneously giving IT administrators the ability to manage the desktops remotely and easily service them.”
Capable of commencing operation within 30 seconds, the desktop comes in two versions namely, small and tower. Users are allowed to configure it as per their needs. The device is integrated with SATA III which is said to enable hard drive data transfer at up to two times the speed of SATA II.
The newest Lenovo device is equipped with AMD Radeon discrete graphics and AMD Evefinity technology that lends support to a maximum of four displays including the main monitor. It comes with DisplayPort for exporting high definition video content for viewing on another device, while keeping the standard video VGA output intact.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M77 desktop is now available online at lenovo.com. Its price starts at $439 (approx. Rs. 21,339).
