Lenovo workstations to come with Elemental Accelerator
Lenovo has geared up to bring to users an improved performance. The most recent news from the company reveals that its workstations will now offer enhanced graphics performance with this newly announced software.
The latest software will be bundled with the workstations and is called the Elemental Accelerator, reveals i4u. It offers compatibility with the Nvidia Quadro FX graphics line. It is all set to offer advanced GPU-accelerated power for the Adobe suite and improves performance in Adobe Creative Suite 4.
The Elemental Accelerator delivers GPU-accelerated conversion of several digital video formats to H.264/AVC output ready which can be uploaded on the web or burned to Blu-ray disc. It also comes with support for high-speed MPEG-2 encoding for DVD or digital broadcast.
The software is capable of faster video transcoding while vacating CPU resources for other tasks. The software is available bundled with the Lenovo S20 and D20 Intel Xenon-based workstations.
