A personal computer which not only renders basic computing and web browsing functions but also features enhanced multimedia capabilities now becomes a reality. Lenovo has just rolled out its new IdeaCentre K330 which sports augmented entertainment features.
The IdeaCentre K330 desktop lends an aesthetic working environment packed in a sleek metallic chassis. With up to Intel Core i7 processor featuring Intel Turbo Boost technology 2.0, the desktop subsumes up to 16GB DDR3 memory, up to 4TB HDD storage and twin RAID0-configured hard disk drives for a huge amount of storage. Users can effortlessly maximize their time spent on gaming and surfing the Web as well.
Equipped with the power control switch, it offers simple switching between three convenient power modes for the fan and CPU speed. The turbo red displays high speed and power performance, while the auto blue is for regular operation. Lastly, the cool green shows a silent, energy-saving mode. Thanks to full HD 1920×1080 resolution and DirectX 11 graphics, owners can enjoy watching their favorite titles.
The integrated DVD or Blu-ray Disc drive, optional TV Tuner and HD graphics support are also bundled in. For eye protection, the Lenovo Eye Distance System alerts users when they are too close to the screen. Its OneKey recovery takes data backup and recovers content with a simple touch. Moreover, the tool-free CPU design eliminates the need to open the hardware of the K330.
The new IdeaCentre K330 is anticipated to be up for grabs in early 2011 for a starting price of $699 (approx Rs. 31,420).
