Earlier in the day we had reported about the Acer D241H Display+ monitor. This product along with many other offerings was seen showcased at CeBIT this year. To add to that array Acer now unravels two new products into its Veriton desktop PC range christened as the M680G and S680G series. The new offerings are fashioned to suit business needs and works on only the required power needed to conduct daily office tasks.
The Veriton M680G is noted to be a micro-tower for optimal expandability and extended computing reliability while the Veriton S680G can be easily located beneath the monitor in order to save space. The latest desktops house the Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 as well as the Intel Q57 Express Chipset which includes a built-in Intel HD graphics for HD video playback and heightened 3D graphics. The Acer products also comprise of up to 16GB DDR3 memory, PCI-Express 2.0 and a serial ATA HD with up to 1TB capacity which offer users a wide storage space. The Intel Rapid Storage Technology RAID inclusion further enhances the system’s performance.
The internal mechanics of the desktops are completely re-designed to allow users to conduct upgrades and maintenance more efficiently. Being eco-friendly the devices are fashioned from PVC-free materials and include low-power components which utilize the latest power saving technologies. The power consumption is lowered thanks to the inclusion of smart utilities and software.
The Acer Veriton M680G and S680G desktops also successfully meet the requirements of various international standards like EPEAT, Green Seal, RoHS and Energy Star. The Veriton PCs already feature many smart utilities such as Veriton ControlCenter, Acer Client Manager and Acer Security Suite. The Veriton ControlCenter includes Acer QuickMigration, PowerSaver, SmartBoot, eSettings Mangement, eLock Management and Veriton HelpDesk.
The price tag as well as availability of the Acer Veriton M680G and S680G has not yet been disclosed by the company.
