Acer Veriton N270G unwrapped at CeBIT

topatoi ScreenshotA little while back we had reported that Acer unveiled the TravelMate 7740 and 5740 series notebooks. Now the company brings to the forefront the Veriton N270G desktop which can be espied drenched in a slim diamond shape appearance. The offering provides users with an enhanced performance at reduced maintenance costs and low energy consumption.

The new product from Acer is apt for education facilities, exhibition halls, airline check-in kiosks, small offices, public transportation displays, hotel countertops and other such places. It can be placed either on its stand or even attached to the back of some Acer monitors. The Veriton N270G houses the Intel Atom D510 processor which offers dual-core 64-bit performance merged with Intel NM10 Express Chipset. The device boasts of up to 4GB of memory, built-in GFX core graphics solution, spacious HDD and an integrated multi-in-one card reader.

The new Acer desktop works on an energy efficient processor and utilizes the right amount of power thanks to the Acer PowerSaver technology. The Energy Star compliant device is compact in size and also saves on packaging as it is fashioned by utilizing recyclable material. The innovative design keeps all the cables neatly managed and provides easy access to nearly all the ports. When the desktop is attached to the back of the monitor, the power button can be seen located over the display.

The Veriton N270G already comes pre-loaded with the Veriton ControlCenter which is noted to be a suite of utilities that gather tools and functions needed on an everyday bases and displays them is a single fast-access panel. The suite also offers its users Acer QuickMigration, Acer PowerSaver, Acer SmartBoot, Acer eLock Management and Acer eSettings Management. To further manage common IT tasks, the Acer offering comprises of the Acer Client Manager which is a software fashioned to make network administration more efficient.
